Young Scientist

We went to the young scientist in the RDS ,only one group out of TY got through. Kate ,Aoife and Stephanie :)
We looked at some of the projects and ate a lot of food!
It was such a good day

Christmas dress up day :)

Today is our Christmas dress up day. I didnt dress up but other girls did and they look great! Steph was in the parade and won with her group Lauren Chloe and Ruth. They got a selection box to share between them :L
We had to bring in two euro for the care of the aged :)

Tech Keyrings :D

This week we also did practical classes in Technology. We are making keyrings ,theyre really small so everyone is almost finished. Next week were going to start on a clock. I did tech for junior cert so i can help people when they need it :)

Homec :D

This week we started cooking in homec. Ms Mcardle brought in the ingredients for us to make cookies. As we didnt know we were cooking ,we had no fillings for thm so we added vanilla essence for flavour. They turned out really nice in the end.
Hopefully we will get to cook more after Christmas :)

Pilates :)

Seeing as we have finished our dancing ,we have now started pilates. We will be doing this for three weeks and then back to normal PE. I really like it so far ,i think that it is really relaxing. The whole point of pilates is to give you a good posture and tone up your muscles. The woman who teaches us is called Angela.
Im looking forward to having it again next week :)

Work Experience Uno :)

Last week we had our first week of work experience :) 
I went off to The Village at Lyons for the week. I had a really good time. I helped out with Clodagh McKenna for some of the week which was fun. I also helped out in the kitchen of the cafe. Everybody was so nice and it was sad to leave at the end of the week. I woke up this morning and felt like i was going to work again.
When im older i either want to do something with food like a chef or be a primary school teacher. For my second week of work experience,in march, im going to my primary school to see what both careers would be like. Should be fun :D

Dancing :D

We started dancing this week instead of P.E , we have only done a double class and its already so much fun :) Our teacher is called Sharon ,shes really nice and is a great teacher. I think that we're learning a dance to do on TY night.
The other TY class are doing pilates while we dance. In three weeks we will swap and do pilates for three weeks :D
